A collection of staples as the basis for a wardrobe, or as one's wardrobe itself, is a fantastic idea. It's ensures having the right outfit year round, for any situation. But it's actually harder to organize than it seems. In an effort to put together staples that look fashionable, not drab or dowdy, here's some advice and an example:
Note: When making a "staple wardrobe" focus on two-three main colors. Typically these are black & white and blue grey. But other combinations work as well, and ultimately depend on one's skin tone, complexion and personal style. Some alternate color combinations could be:
